The New Apple’s iPod shuffle that is half the size of its first release is now out on the market! It’s so small but bigger on capacity because of its 4GB capacity and selling at $79. So what’s new with this new generation of Apple iPod shuffle?

New iPod shuffleApple boasts that this is now the world’s smallest music player and it actually talks to you! Obviously because it’s so small, it has no LCD but not enough reason for you to get lost.

Apple introduces it’s VoiceOver feature. Just press the button and  VoiceOver will tell you the name of the artist and title of the song currently playing. It would also announce the the names of your playlist. VoiceOver will also tell you if you need to charge your iPod Shuffle.

    That is so cool! Although I wonder how it will handle songs in other languages, or names that have invalid / strange characters in them.

    Silly thing will probably just try and spell it out or something >.<

    I can’t wait to see how it acts when I load up one of my anime sound tracks. lol.

    That is very cool….technology never fails to amaze me.
    I love my ipod shuffle because it is simple and very efficient with its clip on system especially when I run. Never have to feel it bouncing around and I don’t have to have an ugly arm band on.. This new ipod sounds very inviting:)
