Grant Heslov has directed another comedy film, The Men Who Stare at Goats movie, which stars George Clooney, Kevin Spacey, Ewan McGregor, and Jeff Bridges.

The film will be released on November 6, 2009. The Men Who Stare at Goats is based on true events written in Jon Ronson’s book with the same title, released last 2004. The story tells about a down-on-his-luck reporter being played by McGregor, who gets more than what he bargains for when he meets a special forces agent, played by George Clooney, who reveals the top secret about the psychic military unit whose aim is to use paranormal powers to end war.

Knowing is an upcoming science fiction film directed by Alex Proyas and starring Nicolas Cage. The project was originally attached to a number of directors under Columbia Pictures, but it was placed in turnaround and eventually picked up by Escape Artists. Production was financially backed by Summit Entertainment, which will also distribute the film. Knowing was filmed in Melbourne, Australia, using various locations to represent the film’s setting, Boston.
